  3. On the following page, you’ll see a list of familiar places where we can find your W2. Select your employer from the list and click on the “Continue” button.

Once you’ve selected your employer, we’ll search for your W2 and let you know if we were able to find it. If we were successful, great! You can now continue with the rest of your taxes. If not, don’t worry – we’ll help you enter your W2 form manually.

If your employer isn’t listed, or if you’re not sure which option to choose, click on the “I don’t see my employer” link. From here, you’ll be able to enter your employer’s information so we can try to track down your W-2.

How to enter your W2 information manually

If we weren’t able to find your W-2 form, don’t worry – you can enter the information manually. To do so,

  1. Login to your TurboTax account and click on the “My taxes” tab .
  2. On the next page, scroll down to the “Wages & income” section and click on the “Add/Edit” button.
  3. On the following page, select the “I’ll type it myself” option and click on the “Continue” button.
  4. Now you’ll be able to enter your W2 two information. Once you’re done, click on the “Continue” button, and we’ll help you finish the rest of your taxes.
